Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, Master in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2003) and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2007). Post-doctorate in Hydraulics and Sanitation from the University of São Paulo (2009). Post-doctorate in Biotechnology from the Tiradentes University (2011). Has experience in the area of Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Biochemical Processes, working mainly on the following topics: immobilization of enzymes for hydrolysis, esterification and transesterification reactions; biochemical characterization, morphology and physicochemical characterization of immobilized enzymes; sequential hydrolysis of cheese whey for production of amino acids; treatment of industrial effluents by biological methods and adsorption using agro-industrial waste; modeling and simulation of processes in chemical and biochemical reactors. She was a professor at Tiradentes University (UNIT), a researcher at the Institute of Technology and Research (ITP) and was part of the faculty of the Postgraduate Program in Process Engineering at UNIT. She currently works at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, where she is part of the faculty of the Chemistry Institute and the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry.
