Multidisciplinary Approaches to Dengue and Other Neglected Diseases

layout_set_logo

Our group has long been active in the development of compounds to eliminate larvae of Aedes aegypti, the mosquito vector of the dengue virus. The group’s interests extend to the synthesis of organic compounds for use in combating neglected diseases (including leishmaniasis, tuberculosis, and Chagas disease), as well as to the design of educational materials (scientific dissemination) for the prevention of these diseases.
